Tesla is about to construct one more large Supercharger web site, this time setting a brand new report for the world’s largest.
That’s in keeping with a discovery by Supercharger sleuth MarcoRP (@MarcoRPi) on Saturday. He says Tesla is about to assemble the most important Supercharger web site globally in Yeehaw Junction, Florida.
Tesla has submitted plans for a “Mega Website” at Exit 193 of the Florida Turnpike. This enormous venture will see 200 Supercharger stalls, together with 160 Prefabricated Supercharger Unit (PSU) stalls and 40 standalone stalls, with 8 of those designated for trailers. The prefab stalls come pre-made from Tesla, with stalls already sitting on concrete slabs.
Again in February, MarcoRP revealed Tesla was planning a 164-stall Supercharger web site in Kern County, California, which on the time can be the world’s largest Supercharger web site. However this new Yeehaw Junction web site in Florida appears to take the brand new title, as soon as full.
The present web site with probably the most Superchargers immediately is at Harris Ranch in California, with 98 stalls obtainable.
