The partnership will see Orano’s low-carbon know-how recovering all supplies from lithium-ion batteries and the manufacturing of recent cathode parts. The ensuing product, named “lively mass” or “black mass,” is ready to endure additional refinement in Orano’s hydrometallurgical plant situated in Dunkirk, France.
