Based on Gulf Information, by October 2024, over 34,970 electrical automobiles had been registered within the UAE. To help this development, the DEWA charging community in Dubai has been considerably expanded. The Emirates has set an bold purpose of getting 50 p.c of all automobiles be electrical by 2050.

In mid-2023, DEWA introduced plans to extend the variety of charging stations in Dubai from 370 to 1,000 by 2025, a goal that now appears extremely achievable.
