JeMyn, an affiliate of the Swiss firm Widmer Rail Providers, has positioned an order for 2 Vectron locomotives geared up with battery energy modules from Siemens Mobility. This marks the inaugural order for this new iteration of the Vectron.
The battery module permits the Vectron to function over quick distances with out counting on an overhead energy line.
