BYD has formally launched its new all-electric sedan, the e7, aiming primarily on the shared mobility market. This midsize sedan will not be a part of BYD’s Dynasty or Ocean collection, that are usually named after historic dynasties and marine life, respectively. As a substitute, the e7 is featured on an internet site that caters to company purchasers, together with taxis and ride-hailing providers.

Out there in three variants, the e7 has beginning costs of RMB 103,800 ($14,400), RMB 109,800, and RMB 115,800. For a restricted time, BYD is providing a RMB 5,000 low cost for individuals who buy earlier than June 30, decreasing the beginning worth to RMB 98,800.

The size of the BYD e7 are as follows: a size of 4,780 mm, a width of 1,900 mm, and a peak of 1,515 mm, with a wheelbase of two,820 mm.
