BP adds EV “tap and charge” to its Australian fast charging hubs

British oil and gasoline supermajor BP has introduced the addition of a “faucet and cost” function to its BP Plus platform, enabling fleet clients to recharge their electrical autos (EVs) at BP Pulse charging stations. This new performance permits fleet EV drivers to cost their autos utilizing the BP Plus card and facilitates the monitoring of each gasoline and EV utilization in a single platform.

Paul Augé, senior vp for BP Australia and New Zealand, acknowledged, “Mobility is altering and we’re supporting our clients wherever we will. Because the variety of EVs grows in fleets, we wish to guarantee our clients have a simple expertise at BP. Each fleet is completely different; we’re seeing some clients who’ve transitioned most of their fleet autos to EVs and others who’re simply getting began.”

Since 2022, BP has been increasing its EV charging infrastructure at key websites all through Australia, at the moment providing over 220 charging factors throughout New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Tasmania, Western Australia, and the ACT.
