Maruti Suzuki Launches e-VITARA: First Electrical Car Receives CMVR Certification

This certification below the Central Motor Autos Guidelines (CMVR) is a pivotal milestone, authorizing the e-VITARA for business manufacturing and highway use throughout India. With this ARAI certification, the car complies with all regulatory, security, and emission requirements mandated by the Indian authorities.

The e-VITARA is ready to revolutionize the Indian electrical car (EV) sector, constructing upon Maruti Suzuki’s longstanding fame. Based mostly on the widely known VITARA platform, this electrical variant will doubtless function a high-capacity lithium-ion battery, quick charging functionalities, and a driving vary suited to each city and semi-urban settings.
